Esmeralda II – Linjett 35

The Linjett 35 is a Swedish quality yacht, built at Rosättra boatyard in Roslagen. The yard, which is one of Sweden’s oldest, is still renowned for its fine craftsmanship. The boats are designed and built by the third generation Gustavsson family – with even a fourth generation on its way!

The yacht, Esmeralda II, is equipped with two separate cabins and a salon. She comfortably sleeps up to five people and on day trips she can carry six guests. The cockpit is spacious and generous and thanks to the tiller instead of the steering wheel, she is extremely enjoyable to helm.

The boat is somewhat smaller than most charter boats which makes it fun and easy to sail as well as being better adapted to the conditions of the Stockholm archipelago. It is perfect for small groups and families and ideal for those who want to learn how to sail under safe guidance while enjoying the conveniences of a fine sailboat. The Linjett yachts are famous for their beautiful interior and excellent sailing qualities.

The skipper of Esmeralda II is Birgitta Silfverhielm.

The Big Chill – Linjett 40

Jonas and his wife thought for a long time before they came up with a name for their boat. They both agree that sailing should be fun and relaxing, and an English name was also a good fit as Jonas’s wife grew up on the west coast of the United States.

The Big Chill was built in 2003 at the Rosättra Shipyard in Roslagen. Linjett boats are designed and built by the Gustavsson family in the third generation. The Linjett 40, which is one of their largest models, is equipped with double aft cabins and has a bit more space in all places in the boat. It is possible to sleep 6 people divided into 2 in the forepeak, 2+1 in the aft cabins and 1 in the salon.

The salon is comfortable with a large U-shaped sofa and two comfortable chairs. There are also plenty of wardrobes and stowage spaces in the boat. In addition to a toilet with a septic tank, the toilet also has a shower and sink.

In terms of sailing, the Linjett 40 is stable, easy to steer and can easily be handled by one person if you are used to sailing. But under Jonas’ engaging leadership, there is always something to learn and grasp!

The skipper of The Big Chill is Jonas Lindskog.
